It is easy to get along with Zone Diet Plan, what you have to do is practicing the 3 main Zone Diet :
Zone
Diet Basic - 1 : Proper proportions of the three macronutrients-Carbohydrates,
protein and fat.
The Zone Diet Plan is also known as
30-40 plan. It encourages 40% of calories come from carbohydrates, 30% from
protein and 30% from fat. This basic aspect of the plan shows that it
nutritionally balanced to achieve the best blood sugar and insulin control.

Basic - 2 : Proper meal timing.
The 2nd. principal of the Zone Diet plan is to set a routine for
your meal time. Once the routine is set, try to follow and not to vary to much.
Eat at the same time daily. Consistency of a proper meal timing give you a
balance blood sugar and restore body metabolism. Regular balanced food intake
prevent starvation which will result in body storing more fat and cravings.
Below are the basic timing rules:
Eat within 1 hour of getting up.
Timing between meal and snack shouldn't be more than an interval of 5 hours.
Take a snack 30 to 45 minutes before going to bed.
in order to achieve the optimum result from exercising, take in some food 45 minutes before exercise and some food within 30 minutes after exercising.
